Hingham is also building a major public pickleball facility at Carlson Athletic Complex. The planned complex at 25 Bare Cove Park Drive will have eight outdoor courts, fencing, sound attenuation fabric, shelters, benches, walks, and parking. Construction is planned through spring 2027, so these courts are not yet available for play.

Where to Play Pickleball in Hingham

Cronin courts at 210 Central Street are the center of Hingham Recreation's pickleball instruction. It supports court reservations as well as organized play, and nonmembers can book three days ahead subject to availability. This is the stronger choice for winter play, rain days, larger groups, and players who want a predictable indoor surface.

Carlson Pickleball Complex at 25 Bare Cove Park Drive is a future option, not a current court location. The town's approved plan calls for eight unlighted outdoor courts and player seating. Its spring 2027 completion target will give Hingham a dedicated public complex, but current players should use Cronin programs or the nearby indoor club until it opens.

Hingham Recreation offers a clear progression for adults at Cronin.
